Active Hope Circle—Get Unstuck
June 16 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Free
When the world feels too heavy to carry alone—but too important to ignore.
This isn’t another workshop about “staying positive” while the world burns. This is a sacred container for the full spectrum of what it means to be awake and alive right now—the grief, the rage, the overwhelm, and the fierce love that refuses to give up.
Through Joanna Macy’s Work That Reconnects Spiral, we transform the feelings that paralyze us into the fuel for meaningful action—using embodied practices and brave conversations to cultivate regenerative energy.
Calling all who:
✓ Feel overwhelmed by the weight of the world but refuse to look away
✓ Want more choice than spiritual bypassing and activist burnout
✓ Crave community that can hold both heartbreak and hope
✓ Seek to reconnect with innate clarity, stamina, and strength
Join us every month, or drop-in when you can. Every circle includes:
✔ A full Spiral overview so you can join anytime
✔ Guided practices for sustainable activism and a felt sense of your place in the Web of Life
✔ Tools to metabolize despair without drowning in it
✔ Community that gets it—and gets you
✔ Pay-what-you-can options ($15 pre-registered / $20 at door)
The Spiral We’ll Walk Together:
- Gratitude: Remembering what sustains us
- Self-Awareness: Tending our roots and bones
- Social Awareness: Embracing our relative privilege and power
- Honoring Our Pain: Uncovering the motivation behind our grief
- Seeing with New/Ancient Eyes: Awakening to interbeing
- Liberation: Releasing stuckness into aliveness
- Going Forth: Aligning action with love in service to life
What to Bring: a journal & pen, an object from nature for the altar, optional comfort items (we provide chairs, cushions, blankets, and mats)
Accessibility: Open to all backgrounds, identities, bodies, and abilities. No prior experience needed. All practices are adaptable, and verbal sharing is always optional.
Facilitated by Shiloh Grace
Shiloh Grace (she/they) is a facilitator of the Work That Reconnects (founded by Joanna Macy) and EcoNIDRA
A lifelong student of earth-centered transformation, Shiloh’s circles are rooted in the belief that grief and love are two names for the same river. They guide participants to metabolize despair through embodied dialogue, nature-based ritual, and the science of resilience.
