Sacred Agreements & Community Care

Our Sacred Container

By stepping into Soul Song Sanctuary, you enter a container of trust and transformation. To create a space that’s both safe and brave, we all agree to be in the practice of:

  • Acting and interacting with kindness and respect
  • Honoring each person’s unique journey, wisdom, and boundaries
  • Listening as deeply as we share, with curiosity
  • Being fully present in the moment and with each other
  • Trusting in the emergent wisdom that comes when we gather with intent
  • Owning the impact of our interactions
  • Holding what’s shared in confidentiality while carrying forward what’s learned
  • Contributing to our Shared Values and Community Guidelines as we grow together

Ecosystem of Reciprocity

Soul Song Sanctuary exists as a labor of love—we’re creating an ecosystem where we can co-exist with capitalism while honoring a fundamental truth:

Healing is a right, not a privilege.

Community Pricing & Access Fund

The Community Access Fund thrives through mutual care—when we give what we can, not just what we must.

  • 🌱 Supported: Choose this option when financial constraints would otherwise prevent your participation. This draws from our collective fund, and we invite you to reciprocate by investing fully with your presence and engagement.
  • 🌿 Suggested: This covers the baseline cost of your participation. It reflects our commitment to valuing the labor, expertise, and preparation of our facilitators while keeping offerings as accessible as possible.
  • 🌳 Pay-It-Forward: Your generosity nourishes our Community Access Fund, creating space for others while ensuring those who lead and hold space are adequately supported for their gifts. This option embodies the cycle of community care that makes Soul Song Sanctuary possible.

Our Reciprocity Pact

  • When receiving support from the fund, you promise:
    • To show up fully (arrive on time, participate deeply)
    • To honor the cycle by paying forward when your circumstances allow
  • When contributing to the fund, you promise:
    • To show up fully (arrive on time, participate deeply)
    • To honor the dedication of our space holders by allowing your contribution to support their work without creating hierarchies within our community

Practical Policies

  • Payments: Due prior to entry, including at-door for most events
  • Refunds: Not offered—your registration secures your spot and supports our planning
  • Participation: We reserve the right to respectfully refuse entry or ask participants to leave if our Sacred Agreements are not honored
  • Community Care: Repeated incidents may result in a pause from future events so we can maintain the integrity of our container
